Data Hosting and Regional Servers
When you create your account, your data and stores are hosted on a regional server based on your detected location. This ensures compliance with local data protection laws and provides the best possible performance for your region.
Available Regions
We currently operate in three regions:
United States: Accounts created in the U.S. are hosted on servers located in the United States. Data handling follows U.S. data protection and privacy regulations.
Europe: Accounts created within the European Union are hosted on servers located in the EU. This setup ensures compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), offering strong safeguards for your personal and business data.
United Kingdom: Accounts created in the United Kingdom are hosted on UK servers. Data is handled in compliance with UK GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
Important Notes
- Your hosting region is automatically determined at the time of account creation, based on your detected location. You can adjust the region for your first account and first store during setup.
- Once your account is created, the hosting region cannot be changed.
- Your data will always remain within the selected region unless legally required otherwise.
- Later, you will be able to create additional stores in different regions , allowing you to expand your business while complying with local data regulations.
